WHAT TO EXPECT

South Luangwa

South Luangwa National Park is one of the few remaining wild places on our planet. It is an incredible location to experience an African safari because of its high concentrations of birds and mammals and low number of tourists. Endangered species such as the African painted dog and endemic species such as the Thornicroft’s giraffe, amongst other iconic African wildlife, will be some of your greatest highlights. The mighty Luangwa River brings this valley to life and provides the perfect habitat for more than 400 species of birds and over 60 species of favorite African mammals.
