South Luangwa

South Luangwa National Park is a special place to experience safari with high concentrations of animals and few other tourists in the area. There are endangered and unique animals like the African painted dog and also the animals everyone plans to see on safari like herds of elephants and towers of giraffes. The mighty Luangwa River brings the area to life and also provides the perfect habitat for pods of hippos and crocodiles.

South Luangwa is located in eastern Zambia and has over 60 species of mammals and 400 species of birds in the park. The animals are monitored and protected by Conservation South Luangwa and Zambian Carnivore Programme in partnership with Zambia’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife. All Dazzle safaris support the conservation and protection of this magnificent ecosystem.
