There is no requirement or expectation for guests to participate in any philanthropic activities during their trip. Am I safe in Zambia?Your safety is always top of mind at Dazzle and the answer is yes, you are perfectly safe in Zambia! We have found the people of Zambia to be some of the most kind and welcoming people in the world. We have also noticed that arriving in Zambia feels like a warm blanket of safety as there is actually a lower crime rate in Zambia than there is in most places in the United States. The Zambian people are known for their warmth and hospitality, creating a welcoming atmosphere for tourists. While it's impossible to guarantee safety anywhere in the world, popular tourist areas such as Lusaka and safari lodges in Mfuwe prioritize guest security with trained staff and safety precautions.

Victoria Falls is just a short 1 hour flight from Lusaka in Zambia. Cape Town, South Africa - Cape Town is a true fan favorite, with its exciting Mediterranean vibe, amazing culinary scene, beautiful Cape Dutch architecture, thriving art community, and successful sports teams – all set to the backdrop of iconic Table Mountain and the turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda - The Virunga Mountains straddle the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and are home to around 480 mountain gorillas, more than half of the world’s entire population. Do I Need Any Vaccinations or Medications For My Trip?For vaccination recommendations please visit your travel vaccine doctor, local clinic or go to the CDC website. (Please link the CDC website under the words CDC Website: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/) You may be visiting an area of Africa with malaria. You will need to discuss with your doctor the best preventive medicine for you. Ways to prevent malaria include: Taking a prescription antimalarial drug, using insect repellent, and using bed nets. What Are the Passport and Visa Requirements to Visit Zambia?A visa is required for entry to Zambia. You will obtain your Visa at the airport in Lusaka. The visa is currently free of cost. For all other countries, we will provide visa guidelines and instructions. For all travelers to Zambia, it's essential to have a valid passport with a minimum of three empty pages and obtain a visa. U.S. citizens specifically need a passport that remains valid for at least six months beyond their travel dates. It's important to verify your passport meets these criteria well before your departure to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey.

Travel Insurance (Required)Travel Insurance is required to participate in a Dazzle Africa Safari. Dazzle Africa is an affiliated member of Seven Corners travel insurance. While you are welcome to use another insurance provider, Seven Corners can assist with selecting plans and allow you to pick the plan that best suits your needs. Seven Corners, Inc. is an innovative and service-focused travel insurance and benefit management company that serves a global market. They offer customized travel insurance solutions and 24/7 emergency medical and travel assistance services for individuals and groups. Julie Snyder is our personal representative and she is ready to assist you with your travel insurance requests. Julie has been informed of Dazzle Africa’s specific travel insurance recommendations and can guide you to the best policy. Her working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday and she is located in the Eastern Time Zone. The animals are monitored and protected by Conservation South Luangwa and Zambian Carnivore Programme in partnership with Zambia’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife. All Dazzle safaris support the conservation and protection of this magnificent ecosystem.
